#5 – Sip & Savour – In Support of Cystic Fibrosis
Meet Jill – she is a childhood friend of one of our Event Planners. She is also a CF Warrior and the inspiration behind the Sip & Savour event our team coordinated in September. We had an idea to host a pub night style event – something simple – to support Cystic Fibrosis Canada and show some love to our friend. Turns out when a team of dedicated Event Planners puts together a pub night it ends up as a beautiful evening at Township 7 Winery & Vineyards, complete with fabulous wine, award winning food trucks from B & B Concessions, live music by Sean Michael Simpson and Musos Entertainment, décor by Celebrate the Moment and to top it all off, a perfectly baked dessert donated by Chef John walls of House of Walls Culinary Magic. Rare Affairs volunteered 100% of the planning hours and thanks to an incredible group of sponsors and supporters we raised $5,000 for Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
